ABOUT OUR RECIPES
These recipes are written with both the US and European consumer in mind.
You will often see translations for food items (cilantro=coriander) and equipment (a broiler in the US is referred to as a grill in UK ovens).
You will also see rough estimations in both weight and capacity measure. For example, 1 litre is just slightly more than 4 cups, but sometimes the difference is not worth fighting over. When it’s important, the exact conversion will be noted!
US vs METRIC
1 TBSP = 1 Tablespoon = 15 ml
1 tsp = 1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1 cup = 240 ml (you can round up to 250)
2 cups = 480 ml (round up to 500)
4 cups = 960 ml (round up to 1 Liter)
400 F = 200 C
350 F = 180 C
